Run To The Wall

Stops In Cheyenne's VA Hospital

We had the honor of meeting up with the group of veterans that run across country to Washington DC. They come from many wars and many states to join in the "Ride To The Wall". They rode into the Cheyenne VA Hospital on may 16th, 2009. What a site to see some of the same faces every year. The passion in their hearts to make this trip to honor our troops. We had the honor of listening to Janet J. Seahorn, P.H.D and E.Anthony Seahorn, MBA. They have collaborated on a book called: Tears Of A Warrior. Just from the short reading presented by E. Anthony Seahorn many of the attendees there at the  VA  were convinced to purchase a copy of the book. It is the story of healing and living with post traumatic stress disorder. Janet Seahorn presented a poem she wrote that brought everyone on site to tears. There were various speakers, presentation of the honor guard, and a 21 gun salute. Following the activities at the VA Hospital a spaghetti dinner was offered at the VFW 1881. We honor you our military and pray for a safe ride across country! We shall always remember our veterans and the sacrifices you all make for our freedoms! God Bless You All And Keep You Safe Always!
