Welcome to American Bikers for Charities Page

A.B.F.C  American Bikers For Charities is an unincorporated non profit organization. This organization was established for charities to allow local bikers as well as bikers within the state of Wyoming a chance to rally round the charities within our magnificent state. Our goal is to raise funds for honorable charities to help them offer the necessary assistance they provide to our communities and to bring the bikers and community together for benefit of numerous charities.

The Katelynn Stinnett National Memorial Ride and fundraiser is the reason that we formed American Bikers For Charities. We felt we could serve the needs of our state and community by forming a non profit organization.

We have a bank account at Warren Federal Credit Union for American Bikers For Charities. We are registered with the Secretary of State as a non profit organization. In addition we are donating all proceeds outside of expenses to Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming. Everything is verifiable.

On June 13th, 2009 ABFC Conducted the Katelynn Stinnett National Memorial Ride. We had 81 registered motorcycles although we had 59 motorcycles on the run. The weather report called for thunderstorms that day and by the grace of God we had a beautiful ride with no rain and an awesome after party. More people showed for the party which made it a huge success. We had Jeff Ketchum our County Commissioner as our auctioneer. He was just awesome at auctioning the items. He kept the crowd excited and bidding on items one after another.

Now the information you have all been waiting for. We had 59 bikes on the run w/ 81 participants for the poker run.  We had over 125 people at the after party. The funds raised are as follows: Amvets Raffle: $160, Raffle Ticket Sales: $197, Live Auction: $1551, Deal or no deal: $520 because the winner donated back his share of the money, Wet T-Shirt contest:$197, The remainder of the funds came from donations and registrations for the poker run tallying: $1729 for a little over$4350. In addition there were 2-checks made out to Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming for $110 and already turned those funds over to them.

American Bikers For Charities would like to thank all who participated, all who worked the event, all the individuals and businesses who supported this event with merchandise or funding. Most importantly, all of the community members who came and supported the event. The community really came together and did a wonderful job contributing to this fund raiser. We would like to extend special thanks to Thunder Road, Amvets Owners,  Amvets Ladies Auxillary who stepped up to help when we came up short handed in addition to preparing some of the food for the party, and finally Texas Roadhouse for all of their support and the wonderful food donated for the party as well.

Thank you all from the bottoms or our hearts!

Currently the organization is asking Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming for a contract signed by all executive board members assuring ABFC that these funds will be used for Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Programs. We put our hearts and souls into this fundraiser and just want to be sure that this funding is used they way we discussed and agreed upon when we first began our planning for the event.  We presented Prevent Child Abuse of Wyoming a check in the amount of $4,000 on or about August 18th at their new office. For more on that check out the donation page.
